These cards were created for the January card swap over at SOC.  They were to simply say "hello".  I scrap-lifted from a card I did over a year ago but put a different spin on it.  Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results.  I'm loving the Nestabilities' shapes.  TFL!

Up Close & Personal
This photo showcases my Nestabilities shapes with the scalloped circle and corresponding embossing.
You see the edge of the Prima flower peeking into the shot.
Tim Holtz ink was used for the stamping and the inking around the heart created with my Fiskars punch.
In the background, we see the layers of corresponding paper.  The scallops were created with a Fiskars border punch.

It was refreshing to pull from my stash to create this card.
As I continue to organize, I find where my crafting is more streamlined.

I had a great time making these cards, creating the layers and choosing the papers.
I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out.
Thanks for looking!

Altered Picture Frame Swap

Over at SOC, we had an altered picture frame swap and it was SO much fun!
My partner was opened minded to anything. She likes the color green so I thought about flowers and a vintage theme.  This was my very first altered frame and I had so much fun that I taught my sister how to make one too so I hope you enjoy looking at our frames!

My sister lives in Kentucky but she was home for a visit.  We had such a great time together!  Her favorite color is blue.  I wanted to share my love of crafting with my sister and thought it would be fun for her to create a frame.  She's experienced some health problems recently so each piece had a purposeful meaning.
I think she did a great job!!

The frame from my swap partner arrived today!  It's beautiful!  It will go perfectly in my guest bedroom / craft room!  Thanks so much, Sharon!!

Did someone say cards?

Just like call good scrappers, I probably have a bit of excess and odds and ends laying around from my scrapbook pages.  Unlike a lot of you, I'm not that good at either scrapping or card making but at least attempting to do so keeps me occupied!  lol

Here are a bunch of cards I've made in the past month from different items.  I tried to use what I had on hand as well as try a few new things as well.  I hope you like my crafty creations!

I think the black and white cards with a pop of color are elegant spring time additions - if I do say so myself!! haha  The black and white paper was purchased at Hobby Lobby in Michigan.

Thanks for spending time with me!
