Hello and thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I am honored that you chose to visit with me today! It is always such a fun time when my amazingly crafty friends from North Carolina get together for a bit of fun!
This time around, we are celebrating the launch of Stampin' Up!'s newest catalog, the May 2021 - April 2022 Annual Catalog.
When I saw fabulous, this catalog is F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S.!
Don't take it from me, you have been participating in this wonderful blog hop, having seen XXXX beautiful creation just prior to arriving here! All of the projects are wonderful and mine is showcased below.
For my project, I really wanted to showcase the new 2021-2023 InColors.
Have you seen them? I'm sure you have, but they are so awesome that I'd thought to show you again!
Absolutely gorgeous, right?
There colors just spoke to me in terms of a floral combination.
I decided to create my own Designer Series Paper (DSP) to feature on this card. I pulled off the Always in My Heart Bundle, which includes the Floral Heart dies and the Quiet Meadow stamp set off my shelf and got to work. Before now, I only regarded the Always in My Heart set as a Valentine's stamp set. Not any more!
The background text from the Quiet Meadow set gave my DSP an added touch of elegance!I had so much fun creating my paper using the new InColors inks plus Crumb Cake. After slicing my DSP into panels, I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
Then I had fun layering my sentiment using the Painted Poppies Labels Dies to create the circle element in Evening Evergreen, the Stitched Rectangle die in Crumb Cake captures our sentiment from the In Bloom Stamp Set. Then, it is embellished with a die-cut flower from the Floral Heart dies and finished with Wink of Stella. I love how the stitching on the circle is echoed with the stitching on the rectangle die cut! The sentiment is anchored with the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon for an added touch of elegance!
The inside sentiments from the Always in My Heart stamp set were the perfect complement to this card!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
