This was an early creation...like 7 years ago.  I saw this picture today and the thought it conjured up was "peace."  Peace that floats like a butterfly on the wind.  In a time where we are so driven by technology,  sometimes it is nice just to send some snail mail to let people know you are thinking of them!  The sentiment was cut on my Cricut along with the white butterfly.  The purple butterfly is an die cut and embossed image that was embellished with some purple pearls.  My own personal challenge is to use printed papers which is in the background.

It's been a minute since I stopped through here!

Just like everyone else, this thing called "Life" is busy!

Sharing this Cricut card with you - it's super cute and was fun to make!  Lately, I've been noticing a lot of hot air balloons in crafty things.  I teamed up some fun washi. Tape and this Cricut pattern to create this card.  It doesn't show that well in the pics but Wink of Stella by Stampin' Up adds a bit of sparkle to the ballon.  The clouds have extra definition with a little touch of ink coupled with the pearls.  I'm pretty happy with my little card!
