Birthday Card

I had to challenge myself to use some of my Cricut cuts that I've been holding onto.
This card features a Cricut Cut that says "Birthday Blessings" from the George & Basic Shapes cartridge.
I used Stickles to add the bling factor.  The background is lightly embossed with a CB folder.  I added glittery starts and a party hat to make things festive.

This really isn't one of my favorite or my best cards.  I think my creative mojo was on low the day I made it.  The picture didn't turn out so well.  I'm hoping Santa brings me a new point & click camera for Chrismas.

Tag from Scraps of Color - Friday Night Challenge

There is a challenge every Friday over at Scraps of Color.  I really didn't play in this week's challenges, just cheered from the sidelines.  Then, I decided I wanted to play.  The Challenge was to create a tag, use red ribbon, a part of a paper bag, 2 flowers and 2 bling as well as a stamped birthday sentiment.  First of all, I'm really not into stamping and from the stamps I did have, none of them were a birthday stamp.  ::shaking head::: so I improvised, like any good scrapbooker would!  :)  My stamp says "Bee Happy".

October MAW & Queen gifts - Cricut Chatter Group

I am a member of the Cricut Chatter over on Yahoo Groups.  This is a great collection of craft folks that are super nice!  Each month we gift each other with "Make A Wish" items and even pick Queen for a month where everyone sends that Queen a gift.  It's lots of fun.

The theme of this MAW was Thanks / Fall.  I had great fun in creating different things to send to my swap partners.  This month, I am sending a MAW to someone, a Queen gift and a RAK to a very deserving person.  Pictures of the 3 gifts are below.  I'm not going to identify which gift goes to the Queen, the MAW or the RAK.  They will just have to be surprised once they receive them.

Included in the packages are stamps, brads, stickers, ribbon and Cricut cuts.  I hope they like them!

Halloween Swap - not scary, just fun!

Hello Everyone!
Boy, where does time go?  I didn't tend to neglect my Blog to this extent. lol

I've been busy lately participating in card swaps on the Cricut.com site and individual swaps within the different groups I belong to.

A Cricut.com friend and I did a personal swap and the items I sent her were all Halloween related.  I used the October 31st cartridge and Stretch Your Imagination on the cuts I sent to her.  I don't think I remembered to take pictures of all the cuts from October 31st but the rest are here including a Halloween card and tag I made.  I think they turned out to be super cute!  I hope you like them as well!
